Challenge

The client had recently merged two established restaurants into a single concept, creating a new and unified dining experience. The challenge was to honor the legacy and recognition of the original 1988 brand while introducing a refreshed identity that felt modern, cohesive, and relevant to today’s audience. This included translating the new direction across multiple touchpoints without losing familiarity for returning guests.

Solution

I hand-drew a custom “S” inspired by the original logo to preserve brand recognition while giving it a refreshed, modern feel. The original color palette was retained and expanded with dark charcoal grey and gold to align with the restaurant’s interior. A new website and menu were also designed to support the rebrand, with the menu thoughtfully aligned to the space for a cohesive guest experience.
